DecantZone Terms and Conditions

1. Overview
1.1. DecantZone provides fragrance samples for customers to explore scents. By placing an order, you enter into a legally binding contract.
1.2. We sell hand-decanted samples; we do not sell full retail bottles.
1.3. These terms may be updated at any time. The version of the terms in effect at the time of your order will apply to that specific transaction.
2. Authenticity and Brand Affiliation
2.1. No Affiliation: DecantZone is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with any fragrance brands, designers, or trademark holders. All brand names and logos remain the property of the respective owners and are used for identification only.
2.2. Guarantee: All fragrances are 100% authentic, sourced from authorized retailers or distributors.
2.3. Packaging: Fragrances are transferred into neutral containers. Original retail packaging is not included.
3. Product Information
3.1. Samples are hand-filled using sterile tools.
3.2. Olfactory Evaluation: In accordance with EU regulations for repackaged goods, our samples are sold exclusively for olfactory evaluation (scent testing). They are not sold as cosmetic products.
3.3. Variations: As samples are hand-filled, slight variations in liquid levels may occur. If a specific bottle size is out of stock, we may use a larger container (e.g., a 2ml order in a 3ml bottle).
4. Payment and Pricing
4.1. Prices are displayed in EUR.
4.2. Payments are accepted via major cards and bank transfers.
4.3. Promotional offers cannot be combined unless stated otherwise.
5. Shipping & Delivery
5.1. Delivery Risk: For consumers in the EU, the risk of loss or damage stays with DecantZone until you (or a designated third party) physically receive the goods.
5.2. Customs: Customers outside the EU are responsible for all import duties and local taxes.
5.3. Return to Sender (Customer Error): If a package is returned due to an incorrect address, failure to collect, or if your name is not clearly visible on the mailbox/doorbell:
Original shipping fees are non-refundable.
The direct cost of return shipping charged by the carrier will be deducted from your refund.
5.4. Delivery Issues: We encourage you to notify us of any non-receipt within a reasonable timeframe (e.g., 14 days) so we can open a carrier investigation. Your statutory rights regarding lost packages are not affected by this notification.
5.5. Italy Special Note: Due to Poste Italiane procedures, we strongly recommend using the free PostePlus service. We are not liable for return costs arising from failed delivery attempts where the customer was unavailable.
6. Right of Withdrawal (Cancellation & Returns)
6.1. 14-Day Right: You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The period begins the day you receive the goods.
6.2. HYGIENE EXCEPTION: Please note that under Article 16(e) of Directive 2011/83/EU, the right of withdrawal does not apply to sealed goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons if they become unsealed after delivery.
Returns are only accepted if the sample remains unused and the seal is intact.
Opened, sprayed, or used samples are non-returnable.
6.3. Return Costs: You are responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods.
6.4. Damages: If an item arrives damaged, please report it within a reasonable time (we suggest 48 hours for insurance purposes) with photographic evidence.
7. Liability Limitations
7.1. DecantZone is not responsible for allergic reactions or adverse effects. Products are sold for olfactory evaluation only (Sect. 3.2).
7.2. Our liability is limited to the purchase price of the product. This does not limit liability for gross negligence or physical injury as required by law.
8. Intellectual Property
8.1. All content on DecantZone.com is proprietary. Unauthorized reproduction is prohibited.
9. Right of Withdrawal Form
